MGX Equipment Services, LLC (MGX) has launched a new app for Android and Apple mobile devices that will simplify and speed up the way its customers are able to access a wide variety of services.

Being of particular benefit to users who are away from their home base, or without easy access to records, the easily navigable app allows them to access any department across MGX’s nationwide full-service branch locations with just one or two clicks. Quick-connect call and email buttons facilitate fast, direct contact with local sales, rental, parts, and service representatives, ensuring timely, expert assistance to help keep their equipment, projects, and operations at maximum efficiency.

“Our customers can often work hundreds of miles away from their offices, spending many weeks on the road or jobsite throughout the course of a year, so this app provides an indispensable, no-fuss hotline to our team,” said Keith Poff, Vice President & General Manager, MGX Equipment Services. “For example, in situations where identifying a required spare part by name or number isn’t possible, the customer can quickly receive a quote for the correct replacement by simply taking a photo and hitting the upload function. Most of our genuine OEM components are available within 24 hours, so this way a downed crane could be up and running again in the time it might have otherwise taken them to correctly specify the part.”

The app also enables crane owners to extract consistent performance from their assets by scheduling anything from routine maintenance or emergency repairs, whether at their own site or preferred MGX location, to structural repairs and remanufacturing work.
